Learn by doing

Most of the weekend is spent playing. You practise in pairs, in small groups and on your own, and you receive as many sound baths as you facilitate. The theory explains why. The skill comes from your hands. The aim is simple: to leave ready to lead your own sessions.

A sound bath doesn't need to be loud to be powerful.
02

Who it's for

This training is for you if any of this sounds like you:

  • you teach yoga, meditation or breathwork and want to bring sound into your classes
  • you work with the body and want to expand your practice
  • you've been playing bowls on your own and want more structure
  • you're new to it, but feel drawn to working with sound

You don't need your own bowls, and you don't need any experience. It probably isn't for you if you're after a quick certificate or a fixed formula to repeat. This is a practical craft, and it asks you to show up and play.

03

What you'll learn

By the end of the weekend you'll know how to:

  1. 01choose and care for Tibetan singing bowls
  2. 02strike and play them with confidence
  3. 03shape grounding and more activating parts of a session
  4. 04use rhythm, repetition and silence with intention
  5. 05guide people into and out of deep rest
  6. 06hold space for a group
  7. 07facilitate a complete sound bath from beginning to end

You'll also understand the foundations behind the practice: nervous system regulation, brain waves, the role of rhythm, and where sound sits within modern wellbeing.

The two days

Three parts: a theory evening online on the Friday, then two full days in the room at De Moon Yoga, València. A small group, taught in English, with all the bowls provided.

Friday · online · 19:30–21:00

The theory evening. We cover the foundations online, so both days in the room can be spent playing.

Saturday · De Moon Yoga · 10:00 – 19:00 (8 hours, with a lunch break)
  • Opening sound bath, then an opening circle and introductions
  • Handling the bowls: what to avoid, and how to hold them
  • Striking the bowl: mallet, space and tempo, then freestyle practice on small and large sets
  • Working the rim for a more activating sound, then freestyle practice
  • Lunch
  • In two rotating groups, one playing and one receiving: opening, building with rhythm and repetition, grounding and activating sound, and closing
  • Opening and closing the space
  • Two hours of solo practice, a full sound bath each
Sunday · from 10:00 – 19:00 (8 hours, with a lunch break)
  • Opening sound bath and a sharing circle
  • Revision of the day before
  • Guiding, rituals, the waking-up ritual, and chimes
  • Two hours of guided practice with cues
  • The exam: each person facilitates their own full sound bath, around twenty minutes each

Why I created this training

I wanted to teach for a long time before I felt ready. When I looked at other trainings, many of them felt overwhelming. Some tried to cover every instrument. Others stayed so broad that people finished without knowing how to actually begin.

I wanted something simpler. One instrument, plenty of practice, honest feedback, and enough theory to understand why you're doing what you're doing.

My goal is simple. By the end of the weekend, you should feel ready to go home and hold your own sound bath.

My job isn't to give you a formula. It's to help you trust your own judgement.

About me

Drop a photo of Adam

I'm Adam. I first found sound in 2018, during one of the hardest periods of my life. A sound bath was what helped me feel like myself again. I began practising in 2020, and since then I've supported more than 350 people in one-to-one sessions, alongside group sound baths in Berlin, Tulum and València.

I've found there isn't one perfect way to play. My approach is grounded and practical, and it centres on the nervous system. I want you to understand the principles, trust your own judgement, and find a way of playing that feels like yours.

I don't follow a fixed sequence. I respond to what's happening in the room.

FAQ

Do I need any experience?

No. Beginners are welcome, and so are teachers and bodyworkers who want to go deeper. What matters is that you want to practise.

Do I need my own bowls?

Not to start. Bowls are provided, small and large sets. I'll also show you how to choose your own when you're ready.

Is it certified?

You get a certificate of completion from me. This is my own independent training, so it's the practical skill of facilitating a sound bath rather than an outside accreditation, and I'm clear about that.
